Join us as we celebrate Medical Fitness Week, May 6-12! As Chicago’s premier medical fitness center we go far beyond a traditional fitness center by offering services that focus on the mind, body and spirit. Bring your friends and family in for free* as we offer workshops and classes that highlight the special services we offer to our community. Learn more about the importance of health and wellness from our expert providers and trainers!

Open House:
Invite your family and friends and try us out for free during Medical Fitness Week! Try out a Group Fitness class, reserve a pool lane or attend any of the special workshops offered during the week. Guests must be 18 years old and older. Photo ID is required upon entry.

Workout of the Week:
This 30 minute interval training workout will combine strength and cardio for an efficient, challenging workout that can be modified for all levels!
Pre/Postnatal Yoga:
Pre/Postnatal Yoga offers many ways to be more comfortable throughout the birthing year. Join Jessie N. as she will teach you yoga poses that will ease the stress caused by carrying the baby. Breathing exercises will be practiced to help provide relief of emotional stress, calming the central nervous system and bringing balance to fluctuating hormone levels.
Intro to Group Power:
Interested in participating in Group Power classes? This 30-minute intro will assist you in getting started with our group strength program. Francie H. and Sophia P. will teach you what equipment to use, what weights to select and practice some of the exercises. Strength training is a vital part of a health and fitness program and Group Power will get the job done!
Intro to Group Blast:
Interested in participating in Group Blast classes? This 30-minute intro will assist you in getting started with our group cardio training program. Sophia P. will teach you how to properly set up and use The STEP® and practice some of the exercises as you improve your fitness, coordination and strength while you have a BLAST!
Acupuncture for Menopause Lecture:
Join Jeanie B. in this intimate and informative lecture and learn the benefits of acupuncture, and how Traditional Chinese medicine can assist with menopause and other Women's Health issues.
Tour the Pilates Studio:
The Pilates Studio is hosting an Open House and you are invited! Maybe you’ve never seen our studio before, or it’s been awhile since your last visit? Here is the perfect chance to look around. You’ll meet Pilates instructor Andrew R., who will answer all your questions and let you try a few simple exercises on the equipment. Can’t wait to see you!

Interested in participating in Group Blast classes? This 30-minute intro will assist you in getting started in our group total-body program. Katie W. will teach you what it’s all about, what equipment to use and practice some of the exercises. Soon you’ll learn Group Active gives you all the fitness training you need – cardio, strength, balance and flexibility!
